Host Overview Our Hosts are key team members who provide genuine hospitality. They greet guests with enthusiasm, inform them of wait times, enter names into the computer, seat guests, and bid farewell. Primary Responsibilities and Duties
Commit to the Bottleneck culture and be a team player.
Ensure the overall guest experience exceeds expectations, including greeting guests with warmth and anticipating their needs.
Use tact and good judgment when dealing with guest challenges, responding with patience, respect, and courtesy.
Follow all steps of service.
Assist with clearing, cleaning, and resetting tables.
Check and maintain restrooms.
Comply with all safety and sanitation guidelines, including handwashing.
Be proficient in all necessary tools and equipment (reservation, telephone, paging, and voicemail systems).
Support To‑Go orders as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
Must be at least 18 years old.
At least 6 months of restaurant or customer service experience preferred.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
Ability to create memorable guest experiences.
Clear, professional communication with teammates and management.
Ability to work a varied schedule, including nights and weekends.
Good judgment and adaptive attitude.
Upbeat, outgoing, and positive demeanor.
Ability to stand, walk, and stay focused for extended periods.
Telephone communication skills.
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
Warm, hospitable demeanor in a busy environment.
Must Be/Have
Outgoing, polite, and patient.

Work Environment / Physical Demands
Stand for the full shift.

Maintain hearing for accurate communication with guests.

Extended periods of standing and walking to different parts of the restaurant.
