Human Resources Generalist – Regency Hospital – Cleveland East

About the Role As the on‑site HR Professional, you manage all aspects of the Human Resources department in coordination with the Regional Human Resources Director, Corporate HR, payroll, and recruitment teams. You will be part of a committed group of HR professionals, utilizing your education and skills while making a real impact as a strategic partner.
Responsibilities
Maintain and update employee files: Personnel, Employee Health, Agency, and Contract Services.
Prepare employment status reports for payroll, HR, and compliance purposes.
Process and maintain workers’ compensation claims, unemployment requests, FMLA, and leaves of absence.
Provide services that include applicant sourcing, recruiting, and employee orientation.
Establish employee relations and help maintain a culture of excellence.
Process payroll and maintain compliance with all regulatory bodies.
Enable employees to deliver the highest quality care to patients.
Implement and drive strategies for keeping staff safe.
Strategically plan and handle recruitment and retention functions.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience with Corporate HR approval).
2 years of Human Resources experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous HR experience in a healthcare facility with exposure to Joint Commission and CMS.
Familiarity with benefit administration, basic HR and Employee Relations functions, payroll administration, and state and federal employment laws.
Salary: $60K-$65K (based on experience) and $7,000 Sign‑On Bonus!
