Do you love animals and want to make a difference in their lives? Putnam County Animal Shelter is currently hiring part-time Kennel Technicians to join our team!
We are having open interviews on Wednesday, January 14th from 10am-2pm.
Please bring your driver’s license or ID.
Duties
Cleaning and maintaining kennels and shelter areas Feeding and watering animals Assisting with daily care, enrichment, and handling of dogs and cats Laundry and general shelter upkeep Working as part of a team to ensure a safe, clean, and compassionate environment Requirements
Must be reliable and hardworking Ability to work weekends and holidays Comfortable handling animals of all sizes and temperaments Ability to perform physical tasks (lifting, bending, standing for extended periods) Prior animal care experience is a plus, but not required If you’re passionate about animal welfare and want to be part of a team that saves lives every day, we’d love to hear from you!
