Job Description The
Senior Financial Analyst
for East Coast TV Production is an integral part of the OT& finance and operations teams. The role supports the day‑to‑day financial activities for a ~$100MM OCF business, including regular financial and operational metrics reporting, planning and analysis, ad‑hoc strategic financial modeling and day‑to‑day financial processes. The analyst has a unique opportunity to gain an in‑depth view of Production Operations, including the Control Room, Staging and Hair/Makeup/Wardrobe crews, and exposes the analyst to multiple NBC brands such as TODAY, MSNBC, Tonight Show, Late Night, SNL, NBC News Now, and Peacock programming.
Responsibilities
Own non‑labor expense tracking
Support/lead financial operations including revenue and expenses for the Guest Experience team
Lead the close process, including preparing journal entries, client allocations, balance sheet reconciliations, and communicating risks and opportunities to FP&A team and clients
Responsible for supporting the preparation of Budget and Long‑Range Plan and other estimates, including related analysis for OPEX, CAPEX, and Balance Sheet
Prepare monthly / quarterly presentations for ECTV leadership team
Present ongoing results to finance leadership
Perform variance, trend and KPI analysis across the O&T Portfolio
Prepare monthly operating review decks and supporting documents
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree, preferable in finance/accounting
2+ years experience in finance
Proven experience of financial modeling, analysis and forecasting
Solid experience in developing and reporting business performance metrics
Quick learner and team player
Critical thinking and self‑starter
Hybrid This position has been designated as hybrid, which currently requires contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week. Beginning January 5, 2026, hybrid employees will be required to work from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in‑office requirements at any time.
