Base Pay:
$70,000 - $95,000 per year

A leading regional distribution company is seeking a skilled Personal Injury/Collections Paralegal to support its General Counsel in managing claims, litigation files, and account recovery matters. This role is ideal for a paralegal experienced in personal injury, commercial collections, or insurance-related work who thrives in a fast-paced, operational business environment.

Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of personal injury cases from inception through resolution.
Prepare and respond to discovery requests, including drafting affidavits, interrogatories, and requests for production.
Track and manage all case deadlines, ensuring all legal documents are filed in a timely manner.
Coordinate with clients, attorneys, court personnel, and other parties as needed.
Conduct legal research and assist in preparing legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence.
Maintain a comprehensive and organized case management system.
Oversee collections efforts, negotiate payment plans, and manage related legal proceedings.
Assist in the preparation for trials, hearings, depositions, and client meetings.
Stay updated with changes in laws and regulations related to personal injury and collections.
Support the legal team with other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Personal Injury or Collections Paralegal.
Paralegal Certificate or equivalent legal qualification.
Proven experience in tracking deadlines, preparing discovery responses, and managing collections.
Strong knowledge of personal injury law and collections processes.
Excellent research, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite and legal research platforms.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
