Field Controls Llc
Responsibilities
Run, review and action MRP purchasing recommendations.
Release, expedite, defer or cancel purchase orders as needed.
Maintain purchasing related supplier master and item master data in ERP system.
Review open order reports, take action as needed.
Manage purchasing Kanban system and cards.
Create and distribute supplier scorecards. Review with suppliers as needed.
Participate as a member of the Cost Reduction Team.
Provide purchasing and project support to Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Warehouse, Accounts Payable and Sales departments as needed.
Conduct supplier audits as needed.
Participate as a member of the ABC Inventory Project – assist in improvements on lead times, terms, order quantities, stocking agreements, consignment, etc.
Source components for new products.
Monitor domestic and overseas inbound freight. Work with brokers or carriers as needed.
Lead or assist on purchasing projects and initiatives, as required.
Support and fill in for Supply Chain Manager or Purchasing Coordinator as needed.
Strive for continuous improvement in such matters as on time delivery, cost, quality and customer service.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Education and Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or Supply Chain preferred or High School Diploma with minimum 5 yrs. experience in a Supply Chain role.
Prior knowledge of ERP/MRP systems is preferred.
Skills and Specifications
Microsoft Office Suite and D365 a plus
Good Basic math skills
Must be team oriented
