Unit: Med/Surg
Schedule Requirements (including weekends, holidays): Two (2) 12-hour shifts per week. Every third weekend, Holidays per contract.
Qualifications
Current state RN license
Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school
BLS for Healthcare Provider upon hire
ACLS and NIHSS within three (3) months of hire
One (1) year of acute care experience
Preferred Qualifications
BSN preferred
Twoailed (2) to Three (3) years of acute care experience
Med/Surg certification
Department Responsibilities The RN utilizes the nursing process in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the nursing care of acute patients from admission to the department through discharge or transfer. Provides expert care and education to patients in the clinical setting, acts as a patient advocate, leader, Warning Ford and mentor for assistive personnel. Knowledgeable in clinical nursing procedures, disease processes, interventions, and pharmacological agents. Manages patient loads in assigned timelines.
