As a full-time Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA), you will provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in Elko, NV. This exciting role will support our Walk‑In/Acute Care service line. Work schedule: rotating 4x10 shifts 8:00 am – 7:00 pm (Mon‑Thu and Tue‑Fri) + 1‑2 weekends per month (Sat & Sun, 8am‑2pm). What You’ll Do
Perform physical examinations and preventive health measures within prescribed guidelines and instructions of Physician.
Perform therapeutic procedures such as injections, immunizations, suturing and wound care, and managing infection.
Develop and implement patient management plans, record progress notes, provide home‑going instructions, and assist in continuity of care.
Instruct and counsel patients regarding compliance with prescribed therapeutic regimens, normal growth and development, and health maintenance.
Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients’ clinical problems and health care needs.
Record physical findings, formulate plan and prognosis, and provide written home‑going instructions.
Collaborate with Physician and other health professionals to prepare comprehensive patient care plan as necessary.
Prescribe or recommend medications or other treatments such as physical therapy, inhalation therapy, or related therapeutic procedures.
Refer patients to Physician for consultation or to specialized health resources for treatment.
Maintain medical records using (In some health centers it may be using Electronic Medical Record software).
Perform other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Bring
All state licenses/certifications to practice.
Board of Pharmacy Prescribing License (required in NV).
Current national certification (NCCPA required).
Degree from ARC‑PA accredited program.
Federal DEA license (matching each state of practice as applicable).
State Narcotic/Controlled Substance license if required in your state (list of states); New York ROPES registration.
CPR (BLS for the Healthcare Provider/Professional Rescuer or ACLS—must include “hands on” evaluation of skills by trainer/instructor). Course must meet American Heart Association standards but not necessarily be an AHA certificate.
At least three years of clinical experience as a Physician Assistant in an ambulatory care, occupational health, family practice or emergency department setting preferred.
Knowledge of workplace health and safety concepts and OSHA regulations preferred.
Current Certification in AHA or ARC Basic Life Support for medical provider is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services.
Appropriate certification to write prescriptions under the authority of the Medical Leader, if allowed within state of practice.
Strong computer skills with knowledge of Internet software, Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software preferred.
Knowledge and experience with Electronic Medical Records preferred.

Compensation Remuneration range: $120,000.00 – $150,000.00 annually, with additional factors such as experience, qualifications, location and performance. A $10,000 sign‑on bonus is available.
