Overview We provide complementary, turnkey solutions for numerous government partners worldwide across a spectrum of diversified correctional and community reentry services. From the development of state‑of‑the‑art facilities to the provision of management services and evidence‑based rehabilitation, GEO delivers enhanced quality and improved outcomes.

Responsibilities

May perform the duties of a Monitor including resident intakes, check‑ins, breath analysis, and drug screens, providing backup when necessary.

Prepares written personalized programs for each resident, establishes measurable behavioral criteria, and a timeframe for achieving specified goals.

Assists residents in personal budgeting, housing search, enrollment in educational and vocational programs, and participation in family and community activities.

Monitors facility sanitation and safety, assigning daily housekeeping chores to residents.

Orient residents upon arrival, facilitating smooth assimilation into the program.

Maintains confidential resident files and ensures secure documentation.

Collaborates with Job Developers to verify residents' employment suitability.

Verifies residents' pass plan through sponsorship, ensuring accountability.

Prepares terminal reports upon resident release to summarize program performance.

Participates in staff meetings, sharing observations and recommendations.

Maintains confidentiality regarding employees, vendors, residents, and agencies.

Monitors client compliance with alcohol and drug counseling when required.

Reports all program violations via established channels.

Conducts orientation meetings with new clients to explain program rules and regulations.

Installs electronic monitoring equipment on new clients when necessary.

Sets client schedules and approves temporary changes to activities.

Communicates effectively across all staff levels, promoting teamwork.

Complies with work rules, policies, and the Employee Handbook.

Adheres to attendance policy, working overtime as required.

Ensures safe work practices and takes corrective action when necessary.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in social work, human services, criminal justice, or behavioral science, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

At least one year of experience in human services, corrections, or community-based services.

Familiarity with community corrections systems and current practices.

Knowledge of community workforce needs, public and private agencies, and employment services.

Strong written communication skills in English with correct grammar.

Basic math ability: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentage calculations.

Ability to react quickly and appropriately in emergency situations.

Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.

Proficiency with computers and common office software.
