RN - Labor & Delivery/Nursery/Postpartum - PRN Tier II - Days

Forrest City Medical Center is a 118-bed acute care facility located 40 minutes west of Memphis, TN, and less than 90 miles from Little Rock, AR. It serves the community of Eastern Arkansas with services in physical therapy, radiology imaging, women's center, and senior care.

Position Details

PRN – Tier II – Days

2 shifts per week required (12‑hour shifts)

Premium Tier II PRN Differential added to base hourly rate

Job Summary

EvaluatesQueen assigned patients and plans, implements, and documents nursing propriedades.

Assists physicians during examinations and procedures.

Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse.

Promotes patients-percent independence by establishing patient-care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills.

Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

Qualifications

Registered nurse licensure to work in the State of Arkansas.

Requires an associate’s degree in nursing.

Preferred bachelor’s degree in nursing.

Minimum of two years Women’s Services experience required.

Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular fieldafrika.
