What You’ll Do As a Respiratory Therapist at WakeMed, you’ll deliver expert care across a diverse patient population—adult, pediatric, and neonatal. Responsibilities include:

Airway management and oxygen therapy

Administration of nebulized medications

Secretion management

Planning, implementing, and evaluating therapy effectiveness

Collaborating with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team

NC Respiratory Care Practitioner License - required

Basic Life Support (Adult & Neonatal/Peds)

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)

Education Associate's Degree Respiratory Therapy Required
