Licensed Optician
America’s Best Contacts & Eyeglasses, a part of National Vision, one of the largest optical retailers in the United States, is looking for a licensed optician to join our team.
Our stores combine eyewear and eye care into a single experience at a low price, and we’re committed to making quality eye care and eyewear more affordable and accessible. Each location is staffed by talented opticians who deliver exceptional service while ensuring a warm and welcoming environment for our customers.
What would you do?
Meet National Vision’s sales and company objectives.
Follow the America’s Best “Code of Excellence” to ensure customer satisfaction.
Assist in dispensing eyeglasses and contact lenses to customers.
Perform insertion and removal training of contact lenses.
Educate clients on proper eyeglass and contact lens care.
Maintain accurate and organized patient records.
Maintain visual merchandising according to brand and company standards.
Mentor potential apprentice opticians, as permitted by law.
Are you the right fit?
Previous retail experience preferred, but not required.
Maintain a valid optician license as required by state.
Strong selling skills aimed at meeting both store and self‑sales targets.
Strong customer service skills.
Ability to give clear and concise instruction to customers.
Effective interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational skills.
Detail oriented.
Strong multitasking and time‑management skills.
Professional attitude and appearance.
