Position Overview
PRN – Registered Respiratory Therapist at Dallas Center United Methodist. Provide specialized pulmonary care and diagnostic testing according to physician and evidence‑based protocols in a fast‑paced hospital setting.
Hours of Work 7P – 7A. PRN coverage as needed.
Days of Week / Work Shift PRN (United States of America). Flexible scheduling.
Job Responsibilities
Perform evidence‑based pulmonary care and diagnostic testing in accordance with physician orders.
Communicate clearly and openly with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team.
Build relationships to promote a collaborative environment.
Be accountable for your performance and continually seek ways to improve the patient experience.
Take initiative for your professional growth.
Be engaged and eager to contribute to a winning team.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Network Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – must be obtained within one year of hire.
Licensed in good standing as a Respiratory Care Practitioner by the Texas Medical Board.
Registered with the National Board for Respiratory Care.
At least 6Reported months of respiratory care experience.
