Manufacturing Associate - Staging SMT (Swing)

The Manufacturing Associate - SMT Staging, under general supervision, performs a wide variety of kit set‑up activities including loading inventory on mechanical feeders and setting up per pick and place program; issuing stencils and solder paste, labeling boards, putting away material, measuring components, and cross‑training in lateral positions as required. Uses a variety of tools including computers, label makers, portable barcode scanners, and DVM (Digital Volt Meters).

Requirements
What you'll do:
Be a willing contributor in all continuous improvement, training and other workplace programs
Provide excellent customer service to all internal and external customers
Provide clear communication using several sources; in person, over the phone, email, or in writing
Motivate team and create a positive team working environment
Ensure benches, tools and equipment are maintained and in good working condition
Perform other duties as assigned
What you'll need:
Demonstrated self‑management, problem‑solving skills, and work accuracy with an attention to detail
Ability to prioritize and organize several activities to meet daily requirements
Demonstrated ability to interface with multiple levels of personnel throughout manufacturing required
Ability to actively follow detailed directions written and verbal
Effectively manipulate extremely small and/or fragile components and tools
Ability to use visual aids, complicated drawings to verify quality products
Communicate in person, over the phone, email, internet or in writing in a positive and professional manner at all times
Education And/or Experience
High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent
Ability to obtain J-STD and IPC certification within 90 days
Preferred Qualifications
Three or more years of stockroom experience with electronic components preferred
