Field Service Technician I – Utilities
Ring Power Cat – Join our team as a Field Service Technician I, focusing on utility equipment maintenance and repair.
Responsibilities
Conduct all assigned work safely, adhering to applicable safety, environmental and contamination control policies and procedures.
Wear proper personal protective equipment at all times.
Attend and successfully complete required technician training classes.
Maintain the necessary set of tools required for job performance to diagnose, disassemble and assemble components to manufacturer’s specifications.
Diagnose and perform designated repairs on customer or company‑owned equipment, including mechanical, electricalবাদিক and hydraulic troubleshooting, maintenance and repairs.
Work in a neat and orderly fashion, constantly seeking ways to improve work methods, workspace and safety standards.
Inspect components to ensure maximum parts reuse, control repair costs, and document repairs using appropriate software, accounting for repair times.
Monitor job expenses versus repair estimates and report any cost overruns to supervisors before job completion.
Approach work positively, maintain a supportive conduct toward the team, set a standard for others, contribute to team efforts by completing tasks on time while maintaining safety and quality expectations, and train or mentor others when necessary.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Credentials: Valid driver’s license; completion of the required training curriculum for Service Field Tech I.
Communication Skills: ability to comprehend written material and communicate orally and in writing with employees and customers.
Desired (but not required)
Proficiency with a computer, Microsoft Office, and relevant dealer software programs.
Working Environment
Stress Load: Regular exposure to stresses (20–80% of the time).
Workload Fluctuation: Frequent changes in priorities, complexity, and quantity of work.
Work Schedule: Regular business hours with frequent requirements for night, holiday, and weekend work.
