What You’ll Do
Maintain dealership financial records, ensure accurate month‑end closings, and review general ledger schedules.
Monitor operational income statements, conduct fraud prevention reviews, and ensure adherence to internal controls and LAD financial policies.
Oversee accounts receivable collections, daily bank postings, and bank reconciliations.
Review or prepare payroll and accounts payable for accuracy and timeliness.
Conduct physical vehicle inventories, reconcile parts inventory, and support fixed‑asset reporting.
Resolve issues related to inbound and outbound vehicle documentation.
Partner with dealership leadership (especially the GM), manage a team of 2–10 staff, and support hiring, training, and performance management.
Ensure compliance with manufacturer programs, warranty claims, and reporting requirements.
Particip Nase budgeting up to $8 million and support stores approaching $200 million in revenue; contribute to M&A activities.
What You’ll Bring
Strong attention to detail, urgency, and communication.
Proficiency in accounting processes, reconciliation, and financial analysis.
Ability to interpret financial results and recommend actions.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting/classifier or at least 3 years of dealership accounting experience (required).
Experience in team leadership and the auto industry (preferred).
Benefits
$80,000 – $115,000 based on factors such as skills, experience, and internal equity.
