Imaging Receptionist Scheduler – CommonSpirit Health
Job Summary
Greets, schedules, and registers patients seeking imaging services. Ensures consistent compliance with hospital and department-specific rules and regulations relative to scheduling. Schedules out-patients for imaging studies and procedures, as needed.
Responsibilities
Greets all patients with a friendly attitude when arriving in person or when speaking on the telephone.
Collects complete and accurate patient demographics and guarantor information.
Collects complete and accurate insurance information.
Maintains an accuracy rate of no less than 90%.
Prepares admitting packet and obtains all necessary signatures.
Answers incomingken telephone calls and takes appropriate messages.
Requirements Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED.
Experience in a clerical setting.
Within six months of hire: complete Medical Terminology course ( കേസ് SWANK).
Typing speed of 50 words per minute.
Capable of attention to detail and accuracy balanced with data entry speed.
Must be able to adapt to change of duties quickly and smoothly.
Preferred Qualifications
correctionli>One year admitting or scheduling experience in a healthcare setting.
