Job Purpose The HR Coordinator - Field Support Center will provide administrative support to the Human Resources team and will work to gain knowledge of HR and company processes, policies, and procedures in order to assist team members with general HR inquiries. The individual in this role will utilize administrative skills, critical thinking, clear communication, and people skills to support team members with an exceptional level of service. The HR Coordinator will be directly involved in hew hire onboarding activities, to include new hire orientation, assistance with access and equipment requests, and administration of the I-9 and E-Verify processes. In addition to supporting the Field Support Center team, this individual will also assist the field HR team with various initiatives, projects, and requests, as needed. Through this role, the HR Coordinator will gain a better understanding of all aspects of Human Resources—including HR information systems, payroll, and benefits—through regular interaction with all functional HR teams.
What you will do...
Provide administrative support of HR activities related to employee transactions, such as job changes, pay adjustments, and other personnel changes
Conduct weekly orientation sessions for new hires at the Field Support Center
Complete the onboarding process for FSC new hires and field managers with the process, to include assistance with questions and issues related to the onboarding system, guidance for I-9 completion, and I-9 compliance tracking
Assist with employee follow-up for HR-related activities, such as benefits open enrollment, required trainings, and performance evaluations
Provide response to general employee inquiries regarding HR-related matters
Generate and process employee agreements, including non-compete agreements, retention agreements, and separation agreements
Demonstrate active participation in Herc Rentals Safety Culture, always prioritizing the safety of team members and customers alike
Requirements
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

Education
BA/BS university degree with a concentration in Human Resource Management preferred
Skills

Ability to react to changing business needs and adapt quickly
Solid and proven computer skill set (knowledge of MS Office is preferred)

Pay Range: $29 - $32
