Responsibilities Kforce has a client that is seeking a Cost Accountant in Benton, AR. The Manufacturing Cost Accountant will play a critical role in supporting the financial and operational performance of a rapidly growing manufacturing organization. This position is responsible for product costing, labor and overhead analysis, ERP utilization and implementation, inventory integrity, and variance analysis across manufacturing and installation operations. The role is fully on‑site in Benton, Arkansas. The ideal candidate is driven, motivated, and a self‑starter, capable of working independently while also collaborating closely with operations, production leadership, and the finance team. The position will receive direct support and training from the Controller and Assistant Controller and includes a defined growth path.

Manufacturing Cost Accounting & Product Costing:
Develop and maintain product costs by product line
Maintain standard costs and support cost rollups
Allocate labor and overhead to jobs and work orders
Maintain BOM and routing cost integrity
Labor Tracking & Efficiency:
Track direct and indirect labor
Compare paid hours to scanned hours
Analyze labor variances
Inventory & Materials:
Track raw materials, WIP, and finished goods
Investigate inventory variances
Support bin location systems and part master accuracy
Overhead & Variances:
Track manufacturing overhead variances
Support monthly close
ERP & Transaction Flow:
Support ERP implementation and optimization
Create POs, sales orders, and release work orders to production
Accounts Payable Support:
Assist with AP coding and general vouchers
Ensure proper classification of vendor invoices
Requirements
3-10 years of manufacturing cost accounting experience
ERP experience in manufacturing
Strong Excel skills
