The Service Greeter plays a vital role in creating a welcoming and positive first impression for customers entering the establishment. This position is responsible for warmly greeting customers, providing assistance with directions or information about products and services, and ensuring a smooth and pleasant service experience. The Service Greeter acts as the initial point of contact, helping to foster customer satisfaction and loyalty by addressing inquiries and facilitating communication between customers and service staff. Additionally, this role supports store operations by monitoring customer flow and maintaining a safe and organized entrance area. Ultimately, the Service Greeter contributes significantly to the overall customer experience and the store’s reputation for excellent service.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to stand for extended periods and maintain a professional appearance.

Basic proficiency in English to effectively communicate with customers and team members.

Customer service experience in a retail or hospitality environment is preferred but not required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in retail or customer-facing roles.

Bilingual abilities to assist a diverse customer base.

Familiarity with store operations and point-of-sale systems.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle difficult customer interactions calmly.

Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities:

Greet customers promptly and courteously as they enter the establishment, establishing a friendly and approachable atmosphere.

Provide customers with information about dealership layout, promotions, and services to assist them in navigating the retail environment.

Monitor the entrance area to ensure safety and orderliness, including managing customer flow during busy periods.

Assist in directing customers to appropriate departments or staff members based on their needs and inquiries.

Report any customer concerns or unusual activities to management to help maintain a secure and customer-focused environment.
