This beautiful new building will offer 100 senior apartments including independent and assisted living units as well as a carefully crafted memory care neighborhood on the first floor with a patio courtyard.
Ebenezer is looking for a
Cook/Chef
to join our Assisted Living team at the Pillars of Lakeville. This position is responsible for preparing and cooking meals as assigned using standardized recipes to meet established culinary standards of high quality care. Culinary is to plate food for optimal eye appeal to entice food consumption by residents in our Senior Living Community located in Lakeville, MN.
This full‑time schedule culinary services position includes:
80 hours per two week pay period
10 hour shifts
Days and early evenings
Two weekends a month
Responsibilities
Handles and prepares food in a safe manner following policies and infection control and safetyत्न standards.
Ensure timely production and meal service is provided to residents.
Set up line service.
Clean and sanitize equipment and work area after each use.
Assist with special events.
Assist Culinary Director with supervision and training of culinary staff.
Perform other duties as assigned and directed.
Required
ServSafe certification, or must be acquired within 90 days of start date.
Basic math skills and comfortable using Microsoft applications.
Must have good problem solving and time leadership skills.
Good written and oral communication skills.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Preferred
Vocational/technical training, education or degree.
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Cooking experience in a similar environment.
Scratch cooking experience.
