Asset Protection Associate – Westfield @ Franklin Park
Job Summary
Supports Shrinkage and Safety Awareness programs by assisting Store Management in communicating current shrinkage and safety topics.
Responsibilities
Conduct surveillance of customers and contractors (CCTV/floor) to detect theft, fraud or suspicious activity, collect investigative intelligence related to ORC activity, and report infractions of company policy to Asset Protection and/or store management.
Detain and interview suspects in accordance with local laws and company policy, and report suspected fraud to Asset Protection management or Market Investigations as needed.
Maintain records: create and manage records using approved company methods, keep proper evidence retention and disposition of recovered merchandise.
Participate in court hearings, update necessary files and maintain relationships with local law enforcement.
Support safety programs: identify and address potential hazards.characters, correct minor hazards, conduct incident investigations and complete associated reports.
Support internal investigations: take direction from Asset Protection management to collect evidence regarding internal investigations and act as an interview witness as needed.
