Location: New York, NY
The Opportunity The Commercial & Pricing Analyst will be a core member of the Sales Operations team, responsible for supporting commercial execution through pricing analysis, deal structuring, and contract insights. This role partners closely with Sales, Finance, and Legal to ensure deals are structured thoughtfully, approved efficiently, and aligned with revenue, margin, and long‑term value objectives.
Responsibilities Pricing & Commercial Analysis
Support pricing and commercial decision‑making by analyzing deal economics, discounting scenarios, and value‑based concessions.
Maintain and apply pricing and discounting frameworks to balance competitiveness, revenue growth and margin objectives.
Provide structured recommendations on pricing exceptions and non‑standard commercial terms.
Deal Support & Execution
Support the end‑to‑end deal review and approval process, ensuring timely, accurate and compliant execution.
Partner with Sales to structure custom and non‑standard deals, including bundled offerings, multi‑year agreements and bespoke commercial terms.
Coordinate closely with Legal and Finance to support contract workflows, approvals and execution.
Track contract milestones, non‑standard terms and key commercial obligations.
Renewal & Commercial Visibility
Support analysis of renewal performance, pricing changes and upsell/cross‑sell opportunities.
ábbi Maintain accurate reporting for renewals, amendments and extensions.
Reporting & Insights
Build and maintain reporting on deal activity, pricing trends, approval volumes, turnaround times and exception usage.
Support ad‑hoc analyses and executive‑ready materials for Sales Operations and Revenue Leadership.
Identify patterns and insights to inform future pricing strategies and commercial guidelines.
Systems, Data & Process Improvement
Ensure Salesforce and related systems accurately reflect pricing, approvals, contract terms and renewal data.
Support continuous improvement of commercial pouvais, documentation and reporting.
Improve data quality and scalability of deal‑related processes.
Required Qualifications
3–6+ years of experience in Commercial Analytics, Pricing, Sales Operations, Deal Support or Finance.
Strong analytical skills with comfort modeling deal scenarios and interpreting financial impact.
Experience working cross‑functionally with Sales, Finance and Legal.
Proficiency in Excel/Sheets and CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deals simultaneously.
