Longwood Medical Child Care Center
is a warm, nurturing environment that serves the local hospitals and institutions. We are seeking passionate, dedicated, and engaging professionals who want to make a positive difference in children’s lives.
We are hiring teachers for our infant and preschool classrooms!
Teacher Responsibilities:
Interact and communicate with children and families in a respectful and warm manner
Develop engaging, age-appropriate activities and Reggio Amelia curriculum
Create a warm, welcoming, and safe environment that supports children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development
Collaborate effectively with teachers and staff
Follow all health and safety policies and procedures while supervising children
Teacher Qualifications:
Must be 18 years or older
High School diploma is required
2+ years of classroom experience working with infants, toddlers, or preschool-aged children in a daycare, childcare center, or preschool
Ability to create a positive, safe, nurturing, and engaging environment
Teachers must meet Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care requirements
Teachers must have an EEC Infant/Toddler or Preschool Certification
Work a flexible, rotating schedule that includes two early shifts (7 AM – 3 PM), two late shifts (10 AM – 6 PM), and one rotating shift per week on Fridays
