Associate Head Coach, Men's and Women's Cross Country and Indoor/Outdoor Track and Field . This is a full-time, 10-month, non-tenure track position that works primarily with the Cross‑Country team and distance events. The successful candidate will possess the ability to effectively communicate with a range of constituents and contribute to a positive work environment. The University is a member of the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) and sponsors 21 Division III varsity sports.

Duties include but not limited to:

Assisting with all aspects of coaching, recruiting, administrating, and managing a NCAA Division III Men's and Women's Cross‑Country שבוע and Indoor/Outdoor Track & Field program

Primary responsibilities include coaching cross country and distance athletes, while assisting with other events as needed

Recruiting academically and athletically talented students; monitoring the academic progress and supporting the retention of student athletes; assisting with the CON budget and scheduling practices

Ensuring compliance with the NCAA, conference, and departmental rules and regulations

Assisting with the coordination of community service efforts

Supporting team fundraising efforts

Requirements Minimum Qualifications:

Collegiate Cross Country and/or Track and field coaching or competition experience

Valid driver's license

Effective written, communication, and presentation skills

Preferred:

Experience as a collegiate distance coach

Knowledge of NCAA Division III rules and regulations

USTFCCCA or USATF coaching certifications or coursework

CSCS or other strength and conditioning certifications

Experience working with and serving diverse populations
