Purpose of Role Responsible for the execution, management, and strategic growth of our paid search efforts across Google Ads and Microsoft Ads platforms, focusing on driving qualified leads at scale while maintaining strong channel efficiency. Works closely with other channel managers to coordinate integrated marketing strategies and contribute to full‑funnel campaign alignment. Identifies trends, tests new strategies, and brings forward innovative ideas to improve performance and scale acquisition volume.
Key Responsibilities and Expectations
Executes and optimizes campaigns across Google Ads and Microsoft Ads with a focus on lead generation and ROI.
Builds and manages channel‑specific roadmaps that align with business goals and seasonal strategies.
Monitors campaign pacing daily/weekly to ensure alignment with monthly volume and budget targets.
Collaborates closely with analytics teams to build dashboards, review attribution models, and develop reporting for key stakeholders.
Partners with web developers and product managers to implement tracking, tagging, and landing page optimizations.
Contributes to integrated campaign planning by working in close coordination with other digital channel managers.
Conducts regular competitive research, keyword mining, and search query analysis to identify growth opportunities.
Designs and runs structured A/B tests on copy, match types, bidding strategies, and landing pages.
Leverages pivot tables and other Excel tools to manipulate data sets, uncover insights, and make informed optimizations.
Stays current on search engine updates, policy changes, and emerging technologies relevant to paid search strategy.
Brings forward new ideas, tools, and features that support innovation and performance improvements in the channel.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Reports To VP, Marketing Acquisition & Ops
Direct Reports 1‑3 campaign managers
Qualifications - Experience/Skills/Competencies
Minimum 5 years of direct experience managing Google Ads and Microsoft Ads campaigns, and a minimum 3 years of experience in supervising a team.
Strong foundation in performance marketing with a proven record of hitting CPL, ROAS, and lead volume targets.
Advanced skills in Excel, including pivot tables, v‑lookups, and performance modeling.
Experience working closely with analytics and product/web development teams.
Ability to roadmap channel strategy and translate performance trends into actionable steps.
Experience with A/B testing frameworks and campaign experimentation.
Strong attention to detail and a self‑motivated, results‑driven attitude.
Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
Experience in financial services, mortgage, or other regulated industries preferred.

Compensation The base salary range for this position is ($113,700 - $135,000) inclusive of all geographical differences in the labor market. The base salary for the position will be determined based on factors such as the candidate’s work location, skills, education, and experience. In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members in determining any final offer.
