Responsibilities
Build a balanced production plan over a 12‑month rolling period based on consolidated customer demands by the GBSC and information on capacity, industrial constraints, components/raw material availability and reactivity.
Define with the S&OP team key priorities and parameters for production planning, taking into consideration relevant supply methods, reactivity levels and the stage of the product life cycle.
Analyze and challenge the plant performance in terms of service and plan realization.
Build rolling weekly plan sequence and collaborate with Short Term Planner (STP) on changes affecting the firm horizon.
Present on catalogue, service, risks, and projects in supply review, top risk meetings and leadership reviews focusing on action plans related to recovering/protecting service.
Coordinate with Launch team to ensure correct prioritization and planning of launches and insources.
Influence and engage entire MPS team to follow best practices and set a standard of excellence.
Clearly and concisely summarize risks to production plan and understand the impact/sensitivity to the business on these risks.
Communicate consistently with internal procurement groups on prioritizations, pull forwards and plan changes to support service for the plant.
Analyze data on availability of materials, line performance, capacity and business need to make well‑informed autonomous decisions on production scheduling, understanding the entire end‑to‑end impact of decisions.
Provide leadership and support to peers in MSC team on decision making and overall business context.
Build trust with cross‑functional teams using clear communication, sensitivity, and sense of urgency.
Maintain 98% service across the entire catalogue by balancing capacity, material constraints, line downtime/planned maintenance.
Root cause analysis on gaps to target stock with action plans to close the gap, working collaboratively with cross‑functional teams and holding them accountable.
Update and publish service top risk, G2T and daily ACH/ADH reports.
Support daily, weekly and monthly reporting for the MPS team.
Assist in annual budget planning within regularly managed catalogue.
Ensure accuracy of master data (firm horizon, 1081 table, etc).
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or Supply Chain discipline preferred.
4+ years of experience in a high‑performance manufacturing facility – cosmetics industry preferred.
Advanced Excel skills strongly recommended (Pivot tables, VLOOKUPs).
Strong written and verbal communication and analytical skills; ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously; manage change, provide program management and achieve results.
Proven ability to develop short and long‑range plans that meet established objectives and contribute to the overall goals and mission of the company.
Strong interpersonal skills with ability to interface with plant and corporate personnel at various organizational levels and external suppliers.
Preferred Qualifications
APICS, CIPM, NAPM, or CPM certification preferred.
Preferred experience in people management.
SAP experience preferred.
Salary & Benefits
Salary Range: $90,200.00 – $128,500.00 (compensation varies by location, experience, education, and skill level).
