Location : Waltham, MA
Shift : Monday to Friday 4:00 pm - 12:00 am

Overview Northeast Security, Inc. was founded in 1967 and has become one of the largest and most highly regarded security services firms_p Among the many locations Northeast serves, Waltham is one of our client sites.
Positions are available based on applicant eligibility, availability, background screening, drug testing and completion of orientation. Upon completion of orientation, positions may still be rescinded if background requirements are not met. Security Officer Responsibilities
Patrol multiple premises to detect irregularities, including suspicious behavior or security breaches.
Observe and report incidents or suspicious activity.
Communicate with local law enforcement units and fire departments as necessary.
Conduct foot patrols of the premises.
Write detailed daily reports on incidents that occurred on the premises.
Maintain proper use, completion, and submission of all patrol activity forms.
Respond to security and safety incidents.
Perform unarmed foot patrols (interior and/or exterior).
Respond to requests for assistance and evaluate appropriate courses of action.
Comply with all on‑site operations manual/post orders.
Assume other duties as required by the client or Northeast Security, Inc.
Security Guard Skills
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to walk long periods of time.
Strong attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Responsible and friendly toward clients and residents.
Professional demeanor.
Conflict resolution / problem‑solving ability.
Maintain highest ethical and professional standards.
Multi‑task and self‑manage in dynamic environments.
Knowledge of all company policies and procedures.
Effective relationships with all levels of the company and client organizations.
Security Officer Requirements
Preferred: Security experience.
Preferred: Customer service experience.
Previous experience in customer service or related field/education.
Neat and professional appearance.
Dependable means of transportation.
Clear and effective English communication (written and verbal).
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
Must successfully pass all pre‑employment background and drug screenings.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Education Requirements High School Diploma Müllacher or GED Equivalent.
