Our National Accounts team is expanding and looking to add a an
Energy Sales Advisor . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in energy sales, with familiarity of deregulated markets, and a deep understanding of energy agreements. They should be adept at developing solutions to help manage energy spend related to electricity, natural gas and energy efficiency strategies tailored to the unique needs of large, mission critical facilities (data centers, hospitals, industrial).
Craft and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales goals and objectives in the commercial and industrial (C&I)
Experience beyond fixed‑priced solutions (structured solutions)
Analyzing customers’ utility bills to determine appropriate energy opportunities
Foster and maintain robust relationships with new clients to understand their needs and offer customized solutions.
Provide sales forecasts and budget reports to monitor performance and ensure alignment with financial objectives.
Ensure client satisfaction and provide high level, best‑in‑class professional support
Employing strong interpersonal and communication skills to successfully identify, qualify, and win sales opportunities
Managing a pipeline of active deals to ensure long term book‑of‑business sustainability
Creating and achieving long‑term and short‑term account‑based revenue objectives (i.e. Annual Business Plan, Quarterly Business Reviews, etc.)
Developing and maintaining trusted relationships with senior level decision makers in your assigned accounts
Proactively schedule and participate in face to face account meetings with top customer base. Includes tradeshows and customer events.
Research and make recommendations for potential service enhancements or modifications to meet the ever‑changing needs of the customer base.
Exceeding quarterly and annual sales targets Roughly 10‑15% travel (sometimes over‑night) is required
Other job duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
5+ Yrs. Of successful B2B sales experience in the energy procurement field.
Deep knowledge and successful track record in meeting revenue goals
High level of comfort preparing and leading client presentations.
Drive contract negotiations and manage complex sales cycles from prospecting to close.
Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, engineering or a related field—or equivalent experience—is preferred.
