Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) - RN
to join our team! We're seeking a skilled and compassionate nurse to assist our Director of Nursing in leading our team of nursing professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality care to our residents.
JOB HIGHLIGHTS:
Full Time
Monday through Friday 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
$35.20 – 44.64 /hr based on experience
Key Responsibilities
Wound Care Management
Oversee wound prevention, assessment, treatment, and documentation
Coordinate with providers,andard mussles, and interdisciplinary team members
Monitor healing progress and ensure evidence‑based practices are followed
Infection Prevention Program Management
Lead and maintain the facility’s infection prevention and control program
Monitor infection trends, conduct surveillance, and implement corrective actions
Provide staff education and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
Psychotropic Medication Management
Monitor psychotropic medication use and compliance with regulations
Coordinate Gradual Dose Reduction (GDR) processes as appropriate
Follow up on pharmacy recommendations and provider orders
Collaborate with nursing staff, providers, and pharmacy consultants
Leadership & Support
Assist the Director of Nursing with clinical oversight and staff support
Provide guidance and education to nursing staff
Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives

JOB SUMMARY:
As an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON), you apply your nursing knowledge and experience by offering guidance on clinical matters, training, and education. Assist with development, implementation, and modification of policies and procedures. Provide system reviews to ensure compliance with federal and state laws and regulations, and effective clinical practices.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Hold current Registered Nurse (RN) license with applicable state, without restrictions, and/or ability to obtain a state‑specific license. Demonstrates leadership ability. Must be capable of performing the Essential Functions of this job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
