Knoxville Center for Behavioral Medicine (KCBM) is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker (BSW) to join our multidisciplinary behavioral health team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a brand-new facility focused on improving lives through short‑term, acute intervention for adults and geriatric patients.
About Us KCBM is a 64-bed inpatient hospital providing care to individuals experiencing behavioral health and substance use crises. We offer inpatient, IOP, and PHP services, serving both adult and geriatric populations. KCBM is a joint venture between National Health Corporation (NHC), Tennova Healthcare, and the University of Tennessee Medical Center – Knoxville.
Your Role
Completing psychosocial assessments and treatment plans
Leading individual, family, and group therapy
Coordinating discharge and aftercare planning
Supporting community outreach and education efforts
Collaborating closely with clinical and medical teams
Qualifications Education
Bachelor's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution. BSWs only need apply, other degrees will not considered
Membership in the Academy of Certified Social Workers
Training
Documented training related to behavioral health within the past year
Eligible to meet hospital standards
Experience
One (1) year experience in an acute geriatric behavioral health setting preferred
