Exact Billing Solutions (EBS) is a revenue‑cycle management specialist focused on substance use disorder, mental health, and autism care. Our proprietary billing process drives cash flow for partner healthcare companies and supports the expansion of global operations. EBS is a self‑funded, founder‑led organization committed to operational precision, scalable systems, and client‑first innovation. About the Role
We are seeking an experienced behavioral health collections professional to join our fast‑moving company. As a Collections Specialist, you will coordinate with insurance companies and clients to secure maximum benefits for clients and support the timely opening of new clinic locations. Responsibilities
Review and manage assigned accounts receivable inventory to ensure timely follow‑up on outstanding claims. Investigate and resolve denials, rejections, and underpayments by working directly with payors, internal teams, and third‑party carriers. Submit corrected claims, appeals, and additional documentation to secure reimbursement. Document all collection activities clearly and accurately within our systems. Monitor payor trends and escalate recurring issues to leadership. Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly productivity and quality standards. Support special projects and process improvement initiatives as assigned. Maintain effective communication with third‑party insurance carriers to resolve issues that impede cash flow and detract from patient/member satisfaction. Generate reports on key metrics such as cash collections, days outstanding, unbilled claims, denials, and daily census. Update patient demographics and insurance information as needed. Escalate payor or client claim issues to department leadership and maintain leadership communications. Qualifications
Associate’s degree preferred. At least 3 years of out‑of‑network behavioral health billing experience. Proficiency with CollaborateMD EMR and billing software. Knowledge of CPT and ICD‑10 coding and claims denial follow‑up, including appeals. Experience with ABA therapy and behavioral health services is a plus. Benefits
21 paid days off (15 days PTO + 6 holidays, increases with tenure). Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and Health Savings Account (HSA) options. Medical, dental, vision, long‑term disability, and life insurance. Generous 401(k) with up to 6% employer match. Culture & Values
Integrity, dependability, and attention to detail guide everything we do. Our team is fast‑paced, mission‑driven, and focused on delivering services that allow our clients to spend more time helping people. We are a people‑first company where your impact matters. EEO Statement:
