Description
The Medical Scribe will provide medical record support services. Duties will include transcribing medical data quickly and accurately while patients are being examined, preparing charts of upcoming bandas and established patients by entering referring and other treating doctors’ contact information and all medical information relevant to the office visit, taking patient history, symptoms, and complaints in advance of the visit. The incumbent will also provide feedback about any data entry errors and review records using accurate spelling, correct grammar, and completeness before they are sent to the physicians for review and approval. The medical scribe will be responsible for keeping the physicians’ moving in the office during clinic hours. The scribe will complete all return-to-work and return-to-school forms_OR request comprising professional documents when required by the physician. The scribe will also assist in abstracting, scanning, cataloging paper records into electronic records, and other duties as needed. Salary Range: $23.58 - $33.05 Hourly
