Coordination of Benefits (COB) Claims Associate NTT DATA, Inc. currently seeks a Coordination of Benefits Associate to join our team for a 6+ month REMOTE contract role with an estimated start date of 2/9/2026.

Schedule: Monday‑Friday (08:00 am‑08:00 pm CST/EST). Overtime and weekend work may Delay on a business‑requirement basis.

Responsibilities

Use multiple sources to research potential dual coverage and determine the primary insurance.

Update the claims system according to member insurance.

Make outbound calls to other insurance companies to verify coverages.

Take on additional training, new assignments or projects as required by the client.

Meet or exceed required performance measures such as quality and productivity standards.

Meet or exceed process SLAs.

Successfully complete required regulatory and compliance requirements such as HIPAA.

Successfully complete all organizational and client training requirements.

Understand how work impacts results for the area and other processes.

Demonstrate knowledge of internal operations and build relationships to facilitate workflow.

Show knowledge of related regulations and standards.

Have a strong understanding of current processes and procedures and may identify opportunities for improvement.

Requirements

3+ years of medical claims or eligibility experience.

5+ years of experience using a computer with Windows PC applications that requires keyboard use, screen navigation, internet searching, and web‑based applications.

5+ years of experience with the Microsoft Office suite, daily usage of Outlook, Excel, and Word.

Ability to type 40 WPM.

Education: Verifiable high‑school diploma or equivalent required.

Compensation: The starting hourly range for this remote role is $18.00. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all U.S. locations. Actual compensation will depend on several factors including the candidate’s work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
