In partnership with the Director of Simulation and Labs and course faculty, this position is responsible for the development, implementation, and evaluation of lab and simulation-based education across all programs within the College of Nursing & Health Sciences (CSON&HS). We’re known for combining academic excellence with hands-on learning, and we take pride in fostering a supportive environment for both students and employees.Working at Endicott means joining a close-knit campus community where your contributions matter and where collaboration, creativity, and professional growth are valued.To learn more about our employee benefits, click .**Key Outcomes****70% of Time:** **Instructional and Simulation Responsibilities*** Develops, delivers, and supports lab and simulation-based courses across all nursing and health science programs.* Ensures all instructional practices align with current professional standards and accreditation requirements.* Evaluates simulation outcomes using competency-based and accreditation-aligned benchmarks.* Provides technical and logistical support for simulation sessions, including set-up, break-down, and operation of high-fidelity manikins and related equipment.**20% of Time: Administrative Responsibilities*** Collaborates with the Director of Simulation & Labs to manage and support the simulation and lab program.* Develops and oversees a standardized patient program across all programs.* Manages inventory and maintenance of lab and simulation center equipment.* Maintains warranty records and ensures the lab is equipped with state-of-the-art, fully functional technology.* Prepares and submits the lab budget to the Office of the Provost.**10% of Time: Additional Responsibilities*** Advises and mentors students in the undergraduate nursing program.* Participates in School committees, faculty governance, and accreditation processes.* Be an active participant in the life of the College by attending and supporting key events like Commencement, Homecoming, and other all-hands-on-deck gatherings. Show a spirit of collaboration and community involvement, including volunteering when possible.* Performs other duties as assigned.**Core Competencies*** **Reliability:** able to get the job done, available and engaged with the job and the Endicott community.* **Organization:** organizes time and resources well so that work is done efficiently and on time.* **Communication Skills:** has clear, effective and efficient ways of communicating, both orally and in writing.* **Adaptability:** shows a willingness to adopt new ideas and to do things differently.* **Follow Through:** takes ownership of projects and sees them through fruition.* **Customer Service:** anticipates the needs and responds to queries in a timely, competent, and approachable manner.* **Initiative/Personal Leadership:** identifies opportunities for improvement and actively contributes to solutions.* **Team Player:** shows a willingness to collaborate and share information, knowledge and experience with team members.**Knowledge/Skills/Abilities*** Master’s degree in Nursing required; terminal degree preferred.* Eligible for RN licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.* Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing practice.* Prior experience teaching in lab and/or simulation settings within a nursing program.* Expertise in generalist nursing competencies and standards of care.* Willingness to complete training in simulation education pedagogy and evaluation.* Experience with healthcare informatics and simulation technology.* Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Forms), and Canvas LMS.* Demonstrated excellence in simulation and lab-based teaching.* Proven ability to advise and mentor undergraduate students.* Excellent interpersonal, collaborative, and customer service skills.* Conflict resolution skills and the ability to work effectively with a diverse student body, including traditional, non-traditional, and adult learners.* Strong organizational and time management skills; self-directed and detail-oriented.* Commitment to inclusive education, social justice, and the development of students' cultural competencies.* Documented record of academic scholarship and service.* Active participation in professional organizations.* This position is based in Beverly, MA.In compliance with Massachusetts pay transparency law, the annual base salary range for this position is $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 . Endicott College considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, relevant work experience, education, specialized skills, internal equity, and external market data when extending an offer. The final salary is determined by the Human Resources Office based on these factors. This range reflects base salary only and does not include benefits or other compensation.**Effective Date of Current Version:
