About the Role (Temporary) Sunday to Thursday Day Shift. As a Driver at Belmont Village Senior Living, you will work as part of a team to provide exceptional hospitality and safe transportation to residents by transporting them to scheduled appointments and recreational outings using company vehicles. You will also play a critical role in day‑to‑day vehicle upkeep and safety inspections. The ideal candidate is reliable, takes pride in their work, and demonstrates empathy. They excel in a fast‑paced, physically active position, collaborate effectively, and embrace a growth mindset, prioritizing exceptional hospitality and helping seniors thrive as they age.
Typical Responsibilities
Ensure safe operation of the company vehicles in accordance with all applicable laws and ordinances.
Assist residents in and out of company vehicles as needed, which may include the use of a mechanical wheelchair lift.
Actively participate in the day‑to‑day upkeep and preventative maintenance needs of the company vehicles, including fueling and taking vehicles for scheduled service appointments.
Assist with scheduled residentyenne activities as needed.
Assist with receptionist or concierge duties as needed.
Make hospitality, customer service, care, and satisfaction the priority in every interaction.
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent.
Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record. CDL with Passenger Endorsement may be required in some states.
Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English.
Demonstrated willingness to learn and work.
Professional, pleasant and team oriented attitude.
Consistent and reliable attendance is essential for all Belmont Village employees to ensure successful operation of the community.
