The Videographer is responsible for spearheading digital content creation, overseeing the editing process, and collaborating with CrossCountry Mortgage’s marketing team to produce final products that align with CCM’s vision and brand. A key focus of this role is filming and producing stories featuring CCM employees with military backgrounds, capturing their experiences in a creative, authentic, and engaging way. This role requires extensive travel to locations across the United States to film on‑site and gather compelling narrative content.**Job Responsibilities:*** Collaborate closely with the marketing team to create video content that aligns with project goals, brand identity, and campaign strategies.* Support strategies that enhance digital content quality and storytelling impact.* Film events while utilizing knowledge of video camera movement, lighting, and audio for optimal results.* Edit video footage to desired length and format using Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.* Create motion graphics and visual effects as needed.* Support the Video Director in planning and executing video shoots.* Complete routine editing assignments to support the Video Director.* Learn and maintain an understanding of complex mortgage products and collaborate with internal departments.* Organize and manage video files for efficient access and retrieval.* Ensure timely delivery of edited videos by adhering to project deadlines.* Attend events outside standard working hours to capture on‑site footage and creative content.* This role requires up to 40% travel to locations across the United States.* Perform additional duties as assigned.**Qualifications and Skills:*** Bachelor’s degree in Film, Video Production, related field, and/or equivalent combination of education/experience.* 4+ years of experience in digital marketing and strategy, with a focus on video editing.* Experience transforming creative vision into polished, high‑impact video content.* Experience collaborating with marketing teams to support strategic initiatives and deliver high‑quality project outcomes.* Experience in video editing, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and impactful visual storytelling.* Experience with photography to support visual and production needs.* Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and/or other video editing software.* Knowledge of set design, including lighting principles and video‑production equipment that support high‑quality visual outcomes.* Knowledge of video editing techniques and workflows.* Knowledge of digital marketing principles.* Skilled in coaching on‑camera subjects, offering clear direction on positioning and movement to enhance visual outcomes.* Skilled in applying a creative approach to visual storytelling.* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.* Excellent collaboration and problem-solving skills to present solutions and resolve conflicts.This job description is intended to convey information essential to understanding the scope of the job and the general nature and level of work performed by job holders within this job.
