Salesforce Administrator & Database Manager - New York, NY Americas Society and Council of the Americas (AS/COA) are sister organizations providing the most trusted forum for debate on issues affecting the Western Hemisphere. Headquartered in New York City, AS/COA also has offices in Washington and Miami and holds high-level events across the United States and Latin America.

AS/COA seeks a proactive and detail-oriented Salesforce Administrator to manage, enhance, and support the organization’s Salesforce platform and database. This role plays a key part in ensuring the organization’s data systems effectively support our mission. The ideal candidate will build strong relationships with stakeholders, translate requirements into clear solutions, and empower users through training and best-practice guidance.

This full-time position is based in New York City and follows a hybrid schedule (3 days onsite, 2 days remote). (This schedule is subject to change). A competitive salary and benefits package is offered.

Responsibilities

Manage all aspects of user and license administration, including new user onboarding, deactivation, roles, profiles, and permissions.

Oversee customer support tickets and maintain relationships with vendors.

Identify and gather requirements from staff and stakeholders to develop effective solutions.

Execute Salesforce configuration changes including Flow Builder, fields, page layouts, record types, dashboards, reports, and custom settings.

Monitor and track user adoption and system usage.

Provide user training and create and update training materials.

Manage and support MassMailer, the organization’s Salesforce-integrated email marketing platform, including audience segmentation, template creation, and user support.

Qualifications Required:

At least 2 years of hands‑on Salesforce administration experience.

Certified Salesforce Administrator.

Bachelor’s/Postgraduate degree or equivalent professional qualification.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines.

Preferred:

Experience with Fonteva (a Salesforce Partner).

Familiarity with Salesforce-integrated mass email or marketing tools.

Spanish language skills and/or familiarity with Latin America.

Experience in the nonprofit sector.
