Position Summary Exciting opportunity at Orlando Health! We are currently hiring for a Senior Director of Academic Partnerships who will be responsible for driving positive change at the corporate level, collaborating with internal colleagues, and partnering with educational institutions.

About The Role Under the direction of the Assistant Vice President of Academic Partnerships, the Senior Director of Academic Partnerships partners with executive nursing leadership and patient care services to support all system-level aspects of academic partners and strategic decision-making to provide placement and recruitment of health care workers. The Senior Director will support activities and personnel related to academic partnerships and clinical placement.

Responsibilities

Work in an engaging manner with academic partners and Orlando Health/Baptist Health leaders to develop, implement mandates .

Develop innovative student learning experiences while maximizing internal resources to expand academic relationships.

Expand and prioritize academic partnerships based on organizational needs within the Orlando Health market.

Maintain flexibility to meet the needs of an expanding Orlando Health market.

Work collaboratively and influence Orlando Health operational leaders, Human Resources, and Talent Acquisition partners to facilitate recruitment of nursing and allied health students.

Util ห innovative and sustainable approaches to meet organizational strategic imperatives related to recruitment and retention.

Support teams’ relationship management with hospital and academic partners.

Review and provide recommendations on data analysis/interpretation on reported outcomes of programming and academic affiliations.

Partner with appropriate leaders and team members at all OH locations, both inpatient and ambulatory settings, to create constructive interaction in standardization and alignment of best practices.

Engage Cup student placement and educational experiences.

Maintain oversight of academic affiliation agreements.

ाक Maintain visibility in clinical settings to assess outcomes, engage team members, and identify opportunities to enhance processes.

Serve as primary liaison formbles implementation and evaluation of best practices, such as dedicated educational units and externship programs with recruitment focus/outcomes.

Provide oversight and mentorship to student services team members.

Demonstr الساخ presentation and interpersonal skills, meeting the needs of all levels within the organization.

Support strategies and provide leadership to improve academic relations, student rotations, clinical student recruitment, and retention.

Develop strategic partnerships with community entities to enhance outreach efforts.

Develop strategies and work to resolve issues with internal partners to identify needs of new hires and to optimize learning strategies that support successful transition into the organization.

Provide relationship management and support intentional clinical student engagement activities that result in exemplary clinical experiences.

Collaborate with local nursing and allied health programs asffs indicated to maximize and optimize clinical rotations and enhance graduate preparedness.

Participate on committees to identify, plan, and execute strategic goals. Ability to share and integrate best practices across the organization.

Evaluate the feasibility of new academic partnerships and make recommendations to executive leadership and team.

Actively participate in recruiting events, promotional campaigns, job fairs, conferences and other marketing and media events to promote and attract new academic partnerships and students.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required

Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) (or relevant graduate degree) required

Doctoral degree in Nursing (or relevant degree) preferred

Licensure

Current license in the State of Florida as acreator re registered nurse or multi-state Florida Compact license required

National specialty certification in nursing administration preferred

Experience

Minimum eight (8) years of successful leadership and management experience required

Executive leadership experience preferred

Nursing educational experience preferred

Knowledge of academic programming preferred
