Assistant Art Director – LoveShackFancy LoveShackFancy, founded in 2013 by Rebecca Hessel Cohen, is a global fashion, beauty, childrenswear, accessories, home, and lifestyle brand celebrated for its romantic, vintage‑inspired aesthetic and cult‑like community. The brand has grown to 24 boutiques across the U.S. and London and partners with major retailers such as Victoria’s Secret PINK, Gap, Target, Stanley, Pottery Barn, and Bogner. In 2023 the company launched Beauty exclusively at Sephora, expanding its reach into beauty retail.

Role Overview LoveShackFancy is seeking an Assistant Art Director to support the day‑to‑day design needs of the Marketing team across email, site, social, events, and beauty partnerships. This role reports to the Head of Brand Creative to ensure all touchpoints feel unmistakably LoveShackFancy: romantic, elevated, and conversion‑minded.

Responsibilities

Design and produce marketing email creative (templates, modules, promotional sends, automated flows) while optimizing for performance and maintaining brand consistency.

Create web/site assets (homepage takeovers, landing pages, banners, product storytelling assets) in partnership with E‑comm and Brand teams.

Develop social‑first creative across IG, TT, and Pinterest (feed, stories, reels covers, paid social), adapting concepts to platform best practices.

Support design needs for beauty launches and campaigns, including Sephora in‑store signage/fixtures, decals, and display collateral.

Assist on partnership toolkits and asset suites that scale across channels and retailers.

Design event collateral including invitations, step‑and‑repeat passes, menus, signage, gifting cards, and on‑site graphics, ensuring print‑ready quality and vendor‑friendly file prep.

Provide light on‑set art direction for small‑scale shoots (e‑comm, social, email content), supporting the Head of Brand Creative with prop styling, layout, and visual consistency.

Help prep shot lists, simple moodboards, and styling callouts (product pairing, florals/props, background/lighting references) to keep shoots efficient and on‑brand.

Work from established brand campaign direction while contributing layout, typographic, and compositional thinking.

Manage multiple projects simultaneously, keep clean working files, and prep production‑ready deliverables (digital + print).

Coordinate feedback loops with Marketing, E‑comm, and Social to implement revisions efficiently.

Requirements

2–4 years of design experience (in‑house brand, fashion/beauty/lifestyle, or agency).

Strong portfolio showing email design, social creative, and web marketing assets; print experience is a plus.

Expertise in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).

High attention to detail: typography, spacing, color, brand consistency.

Understanding of marketing goals and creative that drives engagement and conversion.

Comfortable working fast, staying organized, and adapting designs across formats.
