Weekly Schedule Monday – Friday: 9:00 am – 5:30 pm ET

Compensation & Benefits

Salary ranges:

Business Services Officer I: $21.50 ȁ दर्शन; $24.00+/hour, dependent on experience

Business Services Officer II: $24.00 – $27.00+/hour, dependent on experience

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Business Services Officer I

Provide professional, friendly member service in person, over the phone, and via eMessage; log on and respond to Business Services eMessage, fax, and voicemail during department hours.

Assist members and staff with questions about deposit and loan products.

Process department mail including business loan payments, deposits, wire, ACH, stop‑payment requests, and research requests.

Open business deposit accounts, explain benefits of different structures, and identify referral opportunities.

Make account changes per member requests and gather necessary-қ documentation for signer changes and deceased accounts.

Participate in training activities to ensure compliance with policies and regulations.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Business Services Officer II

All duties of Officer I.

Process, approve, and disburse member loan requests, typically for credit card and non‑commercial vehicle requests under $50,000.

Partner with members and employees for detailed product questions and mentor new staff.

Retain and acquire primary deposit relationships for business members; also manage personal relationships for new and existing members.

Cross‑sell treasury management products and grow services via referrals from lenders or loan officers.

Collaborate with Risk Management, Compliance, and Legal to manage deposit risk.

Generate reports and identify process improvements to reduce costs.

Assist with design, delivery, and implementation of training for staff on deposit and treasury products.

Job Requirements

Business Services Officer I

High school diploma or equivalent.

College‑level coursework in financial services or prior institutional experience.

Basic knowledge of state and federal lending laws.

Excellent member service and interpersonal skills.

Strong written and verbal communication, professional grammar and demeanor.

Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends for trade shows, networking events, and department needs.

Ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Business Services Officer II

All of Officer I qualifications.

Two or more years of financial institution experience.

Business or commercial banking experience preferred.

Well‑developed knowledge of the Business Services suite of deposit products, including competing offerings.

Knowledge of business loan underwriting: collateral, entity structure, loan types, and department guidelines.

Understanding of basic accounting principles and financial Xavier documentation.

Knowledge of federal and state tax forms and general business practices of member businesses.

May need to remain stationary for extended periods.

Ability to operate standard office technology, equipment, and tools, involving many hours of computer and phone usage.
