As a Professional Experience Officer, you'll be at the heart of coordinating approximately 2,500 student placements annually for the Faculty of Education. You'll have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of educational settings, from early childhood centres to secondary schools, ensuring students receive invaluable hands-on experience. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining partnerships with over 500 organisations, directly contributing to the development of future educators.

**Your responsibilities will include:*** Coordinate Placement Processes: Collaborate with team members and coordinators to manage student placements, fostering partnerships with external organisations.* Maintain Policy Knowledge: Keep abreast of university and faculty policies, contributing to their review and revision, particularly regarding course and professional experience requirements.* Liaise and Resolve Issues: Work closely with staff and academic coordinators to manage student services and resolve placement-related issues, escalating complex matters when necessary.* Represent the Team: Act as a representative on relevant committees and working groups, contributing to the broader goals of the Professional Experience & Partnerships Team.**You may be a great fit if:**

You have relevant placement experience and are a detail-oriented professional with excellent communication skills, capable of balancing the needs of various stakeholders while coordinating complex placement processes in an educational setting.**You may also:*** Have experience in educational administration, preferably teaching placement administration or a related field.* Knowledge and understanding of schools, preferably secondary schools.* Possess strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.* Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.* Have a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.* Be proficient in using various software systems and databases.* A tertiary qualification (preferably in an education related discipline) (Desirable)For further information please refer to the attached PD.**What we offer you!**
