Plans, implements, and evaluates student learning experiences using a differentiated curriculum while aligning to Ohio’s Learning Standards or Ohio’s Learning Standards-Extended. Helps students manage behavior, identify goals, and make appropriate choices. Encourages parental involvement.
Makeup of classroom may vary based on student needs (i.e., multiple disabilities, emotional disturbance, etc.)
Minimum Qualifications
Valid Ohio Mild/Moderate and/or Moderate/Intense Special Education teaching license and required subject/grade level endorsements
Prior teaching experience helpful
Knowledgeable of Ohio learning and extended standards
