Behavior Technician
Location: Portland, OR
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $18.00 - $21.00
Comprehensive Early Autism Services (CEAS) provides ABA therapy in the home, school, and community for children diagnosed with an Autism Spectrum Disorder. Our program is based on the science and principles of Applied Behavior Analysis.
Responsibilities
Work directly with children, teaching across many skill areas such as conversation, fine/gross motor, self‑help, and pre‑academic skills under the guidance and supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
Collect data on skills and behavior and make data‑based decisions with the client’s team.
Involve the child’s family in therapy sessions.
Learn strategies and procedures to teach children with developmental delays and behavioral needs.
Attend team meetings and collaborate with a team of therapists.
Travel to each client’s home within the Portland Metro Area.
Qualifications
Car and willingness to travel within the Portland Metro Area.
Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, child development, or a related field.
Experience with young children or individuals with disabilities.
Part‑time hours are available. Afternoon and weekend shifts also available.
