Water/Wastewater Engineer
Ardurra is seeking a qualified Water/Wastewater Engineer to join our team in Augusta, GA. The engineer will plan, design, provide construction administration, and possibly manage aspects of multi-discipline water and wastewater projects for municipal clients throughout Florida and the Southeast region.
Primary Responsibilities
Plan, design, and produce construction administration for water and wastewater treatment facilities, pipelines, pump stations, tanks, and other storage and conveyance systems. Perform engineering and process design, hydraulics, pumping systems, and treatment process projects. Coordinate with multiple departments, sub-consultants, and client stakeholders to execute multi-discipline projects. Research available resources and develop design solutions based on data and analysis. Assist or lead a project team in completing multiple projects simultaneously. Prepare design drawings, technical specifications, material quantity take-offs, and construction cost estimates. Maintain project files and document control in accordance with company standards. Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Essential Functions
Develop detailed designs, plans, specifications, reports, and estimates for treatment plants, pipelines, pump stations, tanks, and other water/wastewater storage and conveyance systems. Perform or manage engineering/process design, hydraulics, pumping systems, and treatment process projects. Coordinate with multiple departments and sub-consultants for multi-discipline projects. Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or related engineering field. Approximately 2 to 5 years of experience in municipal water or wastewater and public works engineering on local utility projects. Benefits
