Job Summary Sales Representative – Missouri

D.R. Horton, Inc., the largest homebuilder in the U.S., is looking for a Sales Representative to manage the sales process while providing excellent customer service. The right candidate will continuously source new customers, help customers find and design their dream home, and ensure a smooth sales process.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Effectively communicate D.R. Horton’s value proposition, product vision, and capabilities to potential customers.

Uncover and understand customer goals and challenges, then establish D.R. Horton as the best solution available.

Overcome objections and close sales.

Maintain accurate documentation of transactions from sale through loan, options, and construction.

Continuously source new sales opportunities.

Create and provide a marketing plan for establishing new customer relationships.

Network and perform outreach to realtors.

Manage time efficiently, meet sales goals, and work effectively with other team members.

Maintain and expand the database of prospects.

Attend sales meetings.

Develop and maintain good rapport with prospective customers, realtors, and team members.

Execute policies to ensure compliance with quality standards.

Conduct all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company.

Qualifications

Associate’s Degree or 2 years of related experience.

Must have a vehicle, valid driver’s license, and be able to drive in daytime or nighttime.

Ability to utilize D.R. Horton Sales applications on a smartphone, tablet, or laptop.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral form, or via D.R. Horton Sales applications.

Proficiency with MS Office and email.

Ability to stand, walk, sit, kneel, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds.

Regular exposure to outside weather conditions.

Noise level is generally moderate.

Preferred Qualifications

Licensing requirements vary by state.

Prior CRM software experience.

Previous sales experience; knowledge of industry preferred.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Strong motivation and team orientation.
