What You'll Do

Provide customer service to clients, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, maintaining a professional presence throughout the healthcare location.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and support a secure environment.

Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas, reporting any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Assist with access control by verifying identification and/or credentials as required for entry into restricted areas within the healthcare location.

Document incidents, observations, and/or security-related activities accurately and promptly according to Allied Universal and site procedures.

Support medical staff and facility personnel during emergencies and/or drills by following established protocols and providing guidance to visitors and patients as needed.

Minimum Requirements

Customer service experience is preferred.

A guard card or license is preferred.

Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

CPR and first aid certification is preferred.

Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
