Description The Reinforced Earth Company (RECo) is seeking a

Quality Control Technician

for its LaBelle, FL Precast Facility. The QC Technician reports to the Quality Control Supervisor and is responsible for inspecting, testing, and ensuring manufactured products comply with all quality requirements.

Responsibilities

Test concrete samples to ensure compliance.

Ensure measurements of manufactured products, steel checks, form alignment, concrete placement, and post inspections.

Monitor product strength and determine necessary corrective actions.

Inspect various FDOT precast products.

Communicate findings with supervisor for corrections.

Document measurements and verify calculations.

Attend continuing education to maintain certifications.

Ensure compliance with FDOT requirements.

Assist with other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements / Education / Skills

Minimum of 3 years of hands‑on experience with concrete; precast preferred.

Certification: ACI Concrete Field Technician 1, ACI Aggregate Technician 1, ACI Concrete Strength Testing Technician and NPCA PQS 1 are all a plus.

Ability to read and understand FDOT and NPCA requirements for precast products to ensure compliance.

Ability to read and interpret casting drawings.

Understanding of basic geometry and accurate tape measurement.

Effective communication of corrective measures; ability to pass certification tests.

Ability to work in various weather conditions and lift up to 50 pounds.

Proficiency in written and verbal English at a professional business level.

Ability to acquire knowledge of company products, policies and procedures in a timely manner.

Self‑motivated with ability to work a flexible schedule.

Work Environment / Physical Demands

Work in both office and indoor/outdoor manufacturing facilities.

Coordinate or lead employees across levels of the organization.

Work in various physical positions: sitting, standing, walking, driving.

May be exposed to uncomfortable or distracting sounds or noise levels.

Wearing personal protective equipment for prolonged periods; safety helmet with chinstrap, safety shoes, eye protection, hand protection, hearing protection as required.
