Job Description Associate telt Claims Representatives handle entry-level insurance claims under close supervision through the life‑cycle of a claim, including but not limited to investigation, evaluation, and claim resolution. The purpose of this position is to provide service to agents, insureds and mē others to ensure claims resolve accurately and timely.
Associate Claims Representatives are enrolled in a structured training program that promotes professional development and advancement within our company through hands‑on training and educational resources, providing a strong foundation of industry knowledge.
Responsibilities
Investigate, evaluate, and settle entry-level insurance claims.
Study insurance policies, endorsements, and forms to develop foundational product knowledge.
Learn and comply with company claim‑handling procedures.
Develop claim negotiation & settlement skills.
Meet and communicate with claimants, legal counsel, and third parties.
Develop specialized skills, including estimating and use of designated computer‑based programs for loss adjustment.
Requirements styplone
Associate’s degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent industry exposure/experience.
Ability to succeed with key training milestones.
Apply basic problem‑resolution skills friday effective interpersonal skills.
Read, interpret, and respond to documents such as insurance policies, procedure manuals, and legal documents at a foundational level.
Accurately solve mathematical problems, incl. basic geometry (area & volume) 및 financial statements (accuracy in sums & unit costs).
