Part‑time, on‑site Accounting Assistant located in Alabaster, AL. The accounting assistant will assist with the preparation and maintenance of financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring accuracy and compliance with policies and procedures. Day‑to‑day duties include supporting bookkeeping tasks, data entry, reconciling accounts, assisting with financial reporting, accounts payable and collaborating with the finance team to ensure operational efficiency.

Qualifications

Proficiency in accounting, finance, and bookkeeping tasks

Experience with financial statements preparation and analysis

Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Strong understanding of bookkeeping and general accounting processes

Excellent numerical and problem‑solving skills

Prior experience in an accounting or finance role is preferred

Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment

Ability to handle financial information with accuracy and confidentiality

Assist with general office duties such as answering phones, scanning documents and greeting customers
